About Clark Shorthand Reporters: Robert Clark became the Librarian-Historian of the National Court Reporters Association – (NCRA) in 1972, and has donated to the association what is now considered the largest library of historical books and artifacts about court reporting. What is now known as the National Court Reporters Foundation is dedicated to preserving the history of this profession. Robert Clark died in 1999. LA Reporters now employs the Clark Shorthand Reporters staff, as well as services the agency’s former clients.
